JIGGING MACHINES - Belitronic introduced its first fishing machine early in 1973. Since that time, thousands of machines have been sold to more than 52 countries worldwide including Norway, Iceland, the Faeroe Islands and North America. Their newest machine, the BJ5000, has sold more than 7000 units since its introduction in autumn 1994. Examples of fish caught with the machines is cod - pacific and lingcod; rockfish - dusky, black and tiger; red snapper, saithe, hake, pollock, redfish, snapper, squid, halibut, grouper, flounder and mackerel. This 228 kg halibut was caught on a BJ5000 in Norway.
